In psychology a complex is described as a group of emotinal experiences, often having an unsuspected effect. And of course Eve was the first woman created by God. Need I say more. The Eve Complex is a blog that will be dealing with a woman's perspective on life's daily apects.
Today's The Eve Complex blog topic: We might be able to do what men do when it comes to casual sex, but can we handle these situations emotionally and come out unscathed mentally.
Why do we as women always or at least sometimes think we can get away with the same crap that men do and walk away from it unscathed mentally. Huh?
CASE STUDY ONE:She's gotta get hers TOO! Enter Charlotte.
Charlotte is a 30 something female newly single and burning up the dating scene. Within the past seven months I can count at least 10 different men that she has been with sexually. According to her she's just trying to find "the right one". Ok. There's nothing wrong with that, but damn who's been to a buffet and sampled everything? This speed sex has to be emotionally draining! For most of the time that I talk to her she's sad. But on the other hand her ex is doing the same and appears to be on cloud nine. This past weekend she had a new "Mr. Right" candidate.
